A Spiritual Life Coach is a little different than your average Life Coach. They are tuned in to their own spiritual understanding and awareness. This affects their clients healing journey in a major way.
First, this spiritual embodiment creates a beautiful healing space for their clients. This is because we understand how everyone is right on time for their own path and this understanding often creates a space of deep trust for the client. From here the client feels heard, safe and opens up to the work that needs to be done.
After this container is formed, we use an organic approach to what surfaces, and show them how to do the inner work that will bring healing to their current blocks. To explain this nebulous journey with a little structure, I picked the 8 common steps that most people go through when working with their Spiritual Life Coach.
Here are the 8 ways that our Certified Spiritual Life Coaches help their clients:
Find a Hidden Root Wound
Heal and Release This Stale Energy
Reprogram the Mind with New Mindsets
Use Effectivity vs. Busyness
Find + Activate Spiritual Gifts
Embody Full Energetic Responsibility
Understand Spiritual Embodiment
Meditate + Journey Within
1. Find a Hidden Root Wound
I like to say what walks you in the door is rarely the real issue. It takes a little digging to find the root wound, but the safe space that our coaches hold often allows the psyche to relax so the shadows can be revealed. For example, "I am scared of heights" is the presenting problem, but after some digging we discover that what is underneath this fear of heights, is really a fear of being out of control. And with a little more digging we discover this fear goes back to a house fire that this client experienced in their childhood.
2. Heal and Release This Stale Energy
After we have found the real root wound as in the example above, "I fear being out of control", we are now closer to what the energetic disruption is. When someone is in a tall building (presenting problem) and starts to be afraid of a height, what is really going on is the feeling, "I am not in control and that triggers an old wound that still needs to be healed. This is when our coach will pick the appropriate healing modality to show them how to move this energy out of the body.
3. Reprogram the Mind with New Mindsets
Once they have started to practice that healing modality, we then introduce them to some healing mindsets that empower them with new thought. For example, "It is ok if I am out of control because, It reminds me to breathe and trust the process of my life." or "Something bigger is with me even now." These shifts come after we have done the deeper work. And if one attempts this phase without really address the root wound it wont work and is considered spiritual bypassing.
4. Use Effectivity vs. Busyness
We live in a culture that really values being on the move. One of my theories behind this, is that most are just running away from their childhood wounds, so the best thing to do is stay busy. We teach our clients to face themselves so they don't need busyness anymore. Once we create this space, we can start to strategize on what is the best use of their time and begin to design their day and life based on desires instead of reactions.
5. Find + Activate Spiritual Gifts
Everyone is born with the same amount of spiritual gifts, I believe. While these gifts come in all different shapes and sizes, it is up to us to find out what they are and learn to use them to our benefit and then help others with them too. Most people are in tune with what their gifts are, and don't even know it. To have a coach come in and ask some simple questions that bring awareness to an already established gift is truly a game changer.
6. Embody Full Energetic Responsibility
As we wake up more and more and begin to see that what is inside of me is mine, and what is inside of you is your, we begin to claim our energetic sovereignty. This is not the easiest step, but it is the most freeing step to take.
7. Understand Spiritual Embodiment
We don't just teach it, we live it. Spiritual embodiment means that we have taking an idea from knowledge in the head and let it come into the heart. When this happens the information alone turns into wisdom. Once knowledge has tuned into living wisdom in the body, you are not hold the frequency of this concept, and we teach out clients how to do this!
8. Meditate + Journey within
This is one of the most important aspects of out spiritual coaching journey. This is eyes closed work that takes us into our inner domain and helps us bypass the mind to go closer to the emotional and spiritual layer of your being. Meditation can be as simple as sitting and listening to a guided meditation, you can start with one of our on our FREE meditation page.
Healing is not Linear
As you go on a healing journey with your spiritual life coach, it will not follow these steps in a linear way, and we are totally prepared to serve your soul what it needs when it needs it. One person may start with meditation and finish with finding the root wound, while another may be totally ready to find the root wound straight from the start!
